The INI curriculum is designed to broaden student knowledge with modern approaches to reactor physics analysis of nuclear systems and prepare them for the future needs of the profession. The topics fall into following categories:

  • Reactor fundamentals

  • Reactor Experiments

  • Nuclear power plants (NPP) economic, project planning and management

  • Nuclear Safety, Security, and Safeguards

  • Advance Reactor design

  • Fuel cycle management

The lectures will be led by a diverse group of international experts, professors, senior scientists from national laboratory and industry leaders. In addition to the formal lectures, students will be grouped in teams to work on hand-on experience that build on lecture materials and foster peer learning. Each team will work closely with and mentored by senior scientists and professors who are leaders in the field. In addition, social and cultural events will be an integral part of the program.

The INI graduates will have a comprehensive understanding of the NPPs, as well as knowledge and skills to guild their future work in team-building and leadership.
